Who this page most often gets wrong, and why it matters. An earlier version of this page listed the insurance requirement as free medication for the uninsured only. That is incomplete: a Medicare patient who cannot afford their out-of-pocket costs and does not receive Extra Help may still qualify for NPAF, and reading "uninsured only" would lead them to rule themselves out before applying. Corrected 23 August 2026 against Novartis's own published criteria.
Confirm current eligibility before applying. Novartis publishes the programme at pap.novartis.com and takes applications by phone on 1-800-277-2254. Income thresholds move with the Federal Poverty Level, and the enrolment form and formulary are revised periodically, so the manufacturer's own page is the only current authority. Nothing on this page is medical advice or a guarantee of eligibility; a determination is made by NPAF, not by us.

- Submit your application online or by mail. Visit the program website below or call the program hotline for assistance.
- Wait for approval (typically 2 to 6 weeks). Once approved, medications will be shipped to your provider's office or a designated pharmacy.
