Cosentyx vs Skyrizi vs Tremfya patient support compared (2026): copay caps, bridges and free-drug rules

A comparison of the support programmes, not the medicines. One prints a yearly copay cap, one prints a bridge, one says no income information is needed, and none of the three copay programmes works with Medicare, Medicaid or TRICARE.

Lattice finding · sponsor pages read 26 October 2026

Of the three, no support programme prints everything: only Skyrizi prints a yearly copay dollar limit ($14,000, falling to $4,000 on a copay maximizer plan), only Cosentyx publishes a bridge (free for up to two years after a denial), and only Tremfya says enrolment needs no income information; Cosentyx and Tremfya both say a yearly maximum applies but print no figure (sponsor pages read 26 October 2026).

Method: we read the savings and support pages and terms of Cosentyx, Skyrizi and Tremfya and recorded what each prints and what it leaves out. This page compares support programmes, not the medicines. How we built this

Quick answer: how do the Cosentyx, Skyrizi and Tremfya support programmes differ?

What each sponsor prints:

  1. Skyrizi (AbbVie): the Skyrizi Complete Savings Card can bring a dose to as little as $0, up to $14,000 per calendar year, or $4,000 if your plan runs a copay maximizer. No bridge printed.
  2. Cosentyx (Novartis): Co-Pay Plus can bring it to as little as $0 with an annual limit it does not print, plus a free bridge for up to two years if a private insurer denies coverage and you appeal within 90 days.
  3. Tremfya (Johnson & Johnson): the withMe Savings Program can bring a dose to as little as $0, with a yearly maximum it does not print, and it says you can enrol without sharing income information. No bridge printed.
  4. None of the three copay programmes works with Medicare, Medicaid or TRICARE. Cosentyx’s free-drug route for those patients is the Novartis Patient Assistance Foundation.

What does each copay card pay, and what is the yearly cap?

A published figure lets you plan around it; an unpublished limit means asking the hub before you rely on it. Skyrizi’s $14,000 and $4,000 figures also appear in Rinvoq’s and Humira’s terms, which is AbbVie’s shared structure rather than a Skyrizi-only term.

Which one covers you while insurance is pending?

Only Cosentyx publishes a bridge. Covered Until You’re Covered supplies the self-injection form free for up to two years, or until your insurer approves, for patients with private insurance and a valid prescription whose prior authorization, predetermination or medical exception was denied; you must submit an appeal within the first 90 days of enrolment to stay eligible. Skyrizi’s and Tremfya’s pages print no bridge, so with those two the card only starts working once coverage does. Our bridge comparison covers six brands that do publish one, and our prior authorization guide and appeal guide cover the paperwork.

How do you get each free without insurance?

The three are not equally clear. The Novartis Patient Assistance Foundation lists Cosentyx on its medication list and says it helps patients who are uninsured or on government insurance and cannot afford their out-of-pocket costs; a Medicare patient must also not qualify for Extra Help (1-800-277-2254). Novartis’s medication-list page prints no dollar income figure; our income limits comparison records 400% of the poverty level ($63,840 for one person) from the programme dataset checked 19 October 2026. For Skyrizi, our Skyrizi guide and myAbbVie Assist guide explain the AbbVie door, but AbbVie’s own site refused every request on 26 October 2026, so we print no AbbVie income figure; Skyrizi’s page says that if you are not eligible for Extra Help the medicine “may still be available at no additional cost” through the 1.866.SKYRIZI line. Tremfya’s cost-support page names no free-drug programme.

What if you have Medicare?

All three copay programmes exclude Medicare, so the card is not available. The free-drug doors above apply, and Medicare’s own Extra Help may lower your costs; see our Extra Help guide. Coverage differs too, which is a plan question rather than a support question.

Bimzelx and Taltz, for context

Bimzelx’s Navigate Savings Program says you may receive it for as little as $5 per dose with commercial coverage, expiring December 31 and renewable each year, and its bridge charges $15 per dose for up to two years. Taltz’s sponsor page returned an access error on 26 October 2026, so we print nothing about it from its own site; the Lilly Cares application lists Taltz in its 500% poverty-level group, which its 2026 table puts at $79,800 for one person (the HHS 2026 guideline is $15,960).

Ask each hub: yearly limit? bridge? maximizer? what ends the support?

What should you do, by situation?

  • If you have commercial insurance and your plan has approved the medicineEnrol in your medicine’s card and ask the hub for the yearly limit in writing; Skyrizi is the only one of the three that prints it.
  • If your private insurer has denied itCosentyx is the only one of the three with a published bridge: file the appeal inside 90 days. For the other two, ask the hub what, if anything, covers the gap.
  • If you are on a copay maximizer planRead the maximizer terms first: Skyrizi caps support at $4,000, and Cosentyx’s terms let Novartis end support.
  • If you have Medicare or no insuranceThe cards are closed to you. Start with the Novartis foundation for Cosentyx and the AbbVie or Johnson & Johnson hub lines for the other two.
How we built this

We read each programme’s own eligibility page, application form or terms on 26 October 2026 (Cosentyx, Skyrizi, Tremfya, Bimzelx and the Novartis Patient Assistance Foundation medication list), and drew on CMS’s September 2026 Part D formulary file for the listing counts. We did not apply to any programme. Where a programme does not publish a figure, we say so rather than estimate it; AbbVie’s own site and Taltz’s sponsor page were unreachable and are not quoted. We compare support programmes only, never how well the medicines work, and nothing here is for sale: no ranking depends on any sponsor. OmniRx does not employ named credentialed reviewers; this is patient-navigation reference, not medical advice. Full policy.

Frequently asked questions

What is the Skyrizi copay card limit?

Skyrizi Complete's terms state a maximum annual benefit of $14,000 per calendar year, and the terms say support may be limited to an amount not to exceed $4,000 if your health plan runs a copay maximizer (terms read 26 October 2026). A lab-test rebate is limited to $1,000 per year.

Does Cosentyx have a bridge while insurance decides?

Yes. Covered Until You're Covered supplies the subcutaneous injection free for up to two years, or until your insurer approves, for patients with private insurance whose prior authorization, predetermination or medical exception was denied; an appeal must be submitted within the first 90 days of enrolment.

Can I use the Cosentyx, Skyrizi or Tremfya savings card with Medicare?

No. The Cosentyx and Skyrizi terms exclude Medicare, Medicaid, TRICARE and VA, and Tremfya's offer is for commercial or private insurance only. Cosentyx's free-drug route for those patients is the Novartis Patient Assistance Foundation.

Does the Tremfya savings program need proof of income?

Tremfya's cost-support page says patients can participate in the TREMFYA withMe Savings Program without sharing their income information. The yearly maximum benefit applies but its dollar figure is not printed on the page we read.

Which of the three is cheapest?

This page compares support programmes, not prices or medicines, and the amount you pay depends on your plan and the medicine your prescriber chooses. Ask each hub for your yearly limit and any bridge in writing.

The bottom line

On the support programmes alone: Skyrizi is the one that prints its yearly copay limit ($14,000, or $4,000 on a maximizer plan), Cosentyx is the one with a published bridge (up to two years after a denial), and Tremfya is the one that says no income information is needed. None of the three copay cards works with Medicare, Medicaid or TRICARE, so those patients start with the free-drug routes instead.
