How Affiliate Links Work on OmniRx
Skimlinks Auto-Affiliation
OmniRx uses Skimlinks, a third-party service that automatically converts qualifying outbound links into affiliate links. When you click a link to a pharmacy, retailer, or service provider that participates in the Skimlinks network, the URL may be redirected through Skimlinks' servers. This allows OmniRx to earn a small commission if you make a purchase. Skimlinks operates across thousands of merchant programs, so specific commission rates vary by merchant. The price you pay is never affected.
Display Advertising (Google AdSense)
OmniRx displays ads served by Google AdSense. These ads are selected by Google based on page content and (in some cases) your browsing history, subject to Google's own privacy policies. OmniRx does not control which specific ads appear, and ad placement does not influence our editorial content or tool functionality.

RxGrab is a prescription drug pricing comparison site operated by the same publisher as OmniRx. When OmniRx links to RxGrab (for example, to help you find the cheapest pharmacy for a specific medication), this is a cross-site referral within our network. RxGrab earns revenue through its own affiliate relationships and display advertising. We link to RxGrab because it provides a useful, complementary service, not because of shared revenue.
Health Britannica (healthbritannica.com)
Health Britannica covers evidence-based supplement science and nutrition research. When OmniRx links to Health Britannica (for example, in the context of drug-supplement interactions), this is a cross-site referral within our network. Health Britannica operates its own independent editorial process and revenue model.
What Affiliate Relationships Never Influence
To be completely clear about our editorial boundaries:
- Drug interaction classifications: Severity levels (None, Mild, Moderate, Severe) are determined by FDA label data and clinical evidence. No affiliate partner can influence how we classify a drug interaction.
- Patient assistance program listings: PAP eligibility criteria, covered medications, and program descriptions are sourced directly from manufacturers. We list every qualifying program regardless of whether we have an affiliate relationship with the manufacturer.
- Tool results: Our Interaction Checker and Assistance Finder return results based on data accuracy, not revenue potential. We will never suppress a result or promote a result because of financial incentives.
- Pharmacy recommendations: When we recommend a pharmacy or pricing option, the recommendation is based on verified price data, not affiliate commissions.
How to Identify Affiliate Links
On OmniRx, affiliate links are not visually distinguished from non-affiliate links because Skimlinks auto-affiliation can apply to any outbound merchant link. However, all article pages that contain potential affiliate links include a disclosure notice at the top or bottom of the page.
If you prefer not to use affiliate links, you can navigate directly to any pharmacy, manufacturer, or service provider by typing their URL into your browser. Your experience on OmniRx will be identical either way.
