Uninsured patients can apply for free Ozempic through the Novo Nordisk PAP, which marks Ozempic as available to uninsured patients only. Novo Nordisk states no income limit on its pages (read 29 October 2026), so call 1-866-310-7549 to ask for the limit in dollars for your household size. Medicare beneficiaries with prescription drug coverage are no longer eligible for Ozempic through the programme through the Novo Nordisk Patient Assistance Program at novocare.com. You will need a prescription and income verification.
Yes, commercially insured patients can use the Ozempic savings card to pay as little as $25 per 1-month, 2-month, or 3-month prescription fill. The card is not valid for patients with government insurance (Medicare, Medicaid, Tricare).
The Novo Nordisk PAP covers Ozempic when prescribed for type 2 diabetes. For weight management, Wegovy (also semaglutide) is the FDA-approved option, and it has its own patient assistance program through NovoCare.
