Yes, the Genentech Patient Foundation can provide Ocrevus at no cost to patients who meet its criteria: for the uninsured, total yearly income under $150,000 for a household of one to four. Your neurologist must submit the application.
Most commercial insurance plans and Medicare cover Ocrevus for FDA-approved MS indications. However, out-of-pocket costs can be high. Genentech offers copay assistance programs to help with remaining costs.
Ocrevus is given as an IV infusion every 6 months at a medical facility. The first dose is split into two infusions given 2 weeks apart. The PAP covers the medication cost; infusion facility fees may be billed separately.
